This morning the boys woke up with cabin fever. We’ve not been outside as much recently because of the rain that’s been so on-and-off. They ran to the door and were begging me to take them outside.
We pulled on their rain boots and rain jackets and headed outside for some fun. Heath saw the rain and immediately stuck out his tongue to try to catch some raindrops. I’m not sure where he’s ever seen this, but I thought it was just so adorable.
These gorgeous flowers just bloomed. I thought they were weeds last week; I’m so glad I didn’t pull them! The purple blossoms warm my heart. What a beautiful reminder of life.
Oh, this teething babe has been so very emotional. He has been crying at everything. I can’t wait for them to pop through.
Oh sweet, sweet babe.
Emery and I took cover underneath the porch while the boys splashed in puddles and caught rain water in their buckets. The way she looks at these wind chimes makes my heart swell so big.
They were a gift from my coworkers when Elle passed away. I now realize that wind chimes are the most beautiful gift for when someone passes away. Each time I hear them I think of Elle. What a sweet, sweet reminder of her life. Emery is mesmerized by them.
Typically the rain is not my preferred weather, but it makes for a different activity than the norm.
