Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Allie. I am a former kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home-mama. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. Above all I am saved by the grace that my Lord Jesus Christ so kindly extended to me by dying on the cross. I owe Him everything.
Brian is my husband and the only love I’ve ever known. He’s my high school sweetheart and I’m incredibly proud to be his wife.
Together we have four children: Heath, Nash, Elle, and Emery. Heath and Nash are fraternal twin boys. Elle and Emery are identical twin girls. You will not see many pictures of Elle around here because we had to give her back to the Lord too soon because she was stillborn. However, you will see and read many words spoken about her because she is still a huge part of our life.
I created Our Sweet Little Now while I was pregnant with my girls. I was holding my boys on my lap and I couldn’t stop thinking about how sweet the moment was. I posted this photo to Instagram, with the caption:
“Relishing every sloppy, wet kiss. Breathing in their little baby scents 14263 more times than normal. Welcoming every cuddle and lap-sit possible. Adoring every unintentional whack to my body as they excitedly share a toy with me. All because they are growing up so quickly and they have sisters on the way. Soon it won’t be just the three of us taking on the world every day and that’s okay. I’m just enjoying my sweet little now. Because now won’t be here tomorrow.”
The essence of “Our Sweet Little Now” is sharing our moments. They may look ordinary, they may look messy, they may look perfect. They are all of these things and I’m sharing them because I won’t have them forever.
